Accounting Honors Institute is an exciting opportunity for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in studying accounting and business. Students will learn how to use a computer system that many Pittsburgh businesses use every day, how run their own business, and how FBI agents and forensic accountants track down and prosecute white-collar criminals.

Accounting Summer Camp

The Accounting Summer Camp is an extension of our Accounting Honors Institute program. Participants will learn about the accounting industry from experienced School of Business accounting faculty as well as experts from four professional organizations: Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and the Kaplan SAT Review.

Computer Honors Institute

Computer Honors Institute is geared toward high school juniors and seniors who have an interest in studying business and computer applications. Students will gain exposure to multimedia applications, like Macromedia Fireworks and Microsoft PowerPoint 2007, that develop both technical and creative skills and have the opportunity to earn 3 free college credits.
