Core Competency Proficiency Exam (CCPE)

Upon completion of the 9 basic courses in the Palumbo School of Business (Information Systems 182 and 183, Accounting 214 and 215, Economics 221 and 222, Quantitative Analysis 281 and 284, and Business Law 251), all undergraduate students will be required to take the Core Competency Proficiency Exam (CCPE). This exam is intended to ensure that students in the Palumbo School of Business have mastered 10 core competencies that the faculty has identified for each of the core courses.

The exam will consist of 90 questions with one question for each competency. It will be divided into 9 sections with 10 questions per section, and each section corresponding to a core course.
