David M. Wasieleski, Ph.D., Assistant Professor

David M. Wasieleski is an Assistant Professor in the Leadership and Change Management Division of the A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration and the John F. Donahue Graduate School of Business. He teaches business ethics to undergraduate students as well as to students in the Masters of Business Administration and the Masters of Science in Leadership and Business Ethics programs at Duquesne University. He has also taught public affairs management and information systems ethics to graduate students at Duquesne.

David's recent research is on individuals' biological propensity for ethical behavior and its effect on workplace social contract relationships. Other research interests of his include work on moral intensity, cognitive moral development, stakeholder agenda-building, and policy learning. His articles have been published in Business and Society, Journal of Corporate Citizenship, and Business and Society Review.

David completed his doctoral coursework in Business Environment and Public Policy in the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He received a B.A. in Economics and a Certificate Degree in Accounting from Pitt, and an M.B.A. from Duquesne University. David also has nine years of work experience in marketing.
