Annual Senior/Alumni Luncheon

Started in 1983, this honors the current year's School of Business graduating class and provides students an opportunity to interact with Business School alumni. Additionally, an alumnus/alumnae is recognized for his/her distinguishing career achievement.

Annual Economic Outlook Luncheon

This luncheon, held jointly with the Economic Club of Pittsburgh each January, provides alumni with an economic forecast for the new year from several of Pittsburgh's leading economists.

Annual Golf Outing

Our annual golf outing raises money for the SBAAA Endowed Alumni Scholarship Fund, which will provide scholarships to students in the School of Business who demonstrate financial need and academic achievement.

Distinguished Speaker Series Luncheon

This series of luncheon programs highlights nationally recognized speakers discussing current topics of interest in business and government.

SBAAA Endowed Scholarship

The SBAAA Endowed Alumni Scholarship was established to assist School of Business Administration students with their ongoing academic pursuits and is made possible through annual fund raising efforts undertaken by the SBAAA. Applications are made available each January in 706 Rockwell Hall and online.

Student Advisory Committee

This Student Advisory Committee is currently reviewing ways alumni may serve as mentors to students in the School of Business, and how the internship opportunities available to Business School students may be increased through alumni contacts.

Monteverde Scholarship

The Monteverde Scholarship Award. Six $1,500 will be awarded each academic year to qualified sophomores, juniors, and seniors from the A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration. Applications are made available each January in 706 Rockwell Hall and online.

Dominion Distinguished Scholar Award

The award is given annually to the graduating senior of Duquesne's A. J. Palumbo School of Business Administration who best exemplifies the qualities of intellect, character and business acumen necessary for success in today's global economy.
