Title: Public Affairs Management
Description: This course focuses on understanding the organization’s public affairs dimension and the role played by the public affairs manager by enabling students to identify and evaluate key external and internal organizational forces (stakeholders) and environments impacting the organization. Students should become familiar with, and be able to apply, public affairs management tools and skills for dealing with those forces and environments. Public affairs management skills include stakeholder analysis, public issue and crisis management, social responsibility and corporate citizenship evaluation, regulatory and public policy strategies, environmental responsibility and the impact of technology.
