Title: External Financial Reporting
Description: In this course, students explore the corporate financial statement package (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow) and develop an understanding of how to use accounting information to assess the profitability, liquidity and solvency of a business entity. Key emphasis is placed on the measurement of resources, obligations and equities, the concept of accounting earnings and reporting alternatives permissible under generally accepted accounting principles.
